I’m still here and kicking. It is 4:25am and i have yet to go to bed…Yes I know…When will I sleep?
Today I attended my first Club RT Event. I was booked to meet readers and talk to publishing companies that had attended the convention. Since I have never been to RT I really had no idea what to expect or what to do. Once I got there I was greeted by a huge billboard with all the author names at the door. As you can see I was scheduled to be there at 3pm.

There were vendors with jewlery, clothes, costumes, photography, publishers, authors and more on the room. This was the place for attendees to come and sit or chat with their fave authors and to also discover some new authors that they might have not known about.
I myself had the chance to see a few more of my favourite authors and chit chat with different publishing companies. Today I also pitched a few of my books to a publisher who loved the idea and requested that I send my work in asap.
How wonderful is that….
Woohooo

Also tonight was one of the first big balls. The Under The Sea Fairy Ball. This was the party to be at dressed up or not. I was amazed to see how much time and effort and more went into the costumes that the attendees were wearing. These costumes were so elaborite and fancy.
In case you are wondering, yes I also dressed up….
Once the video situation gets solved I will make sure to post the clips…
At the ball guests were sat at tables that had a free book for each person and a small trinket. There were scrolls that announced the Fairy Ball Court which were rapped with a ribbon and a small mermaids, or dolphin with a marble hanging from the ribbon.
During the event there was a costumes contest where people competed for the best costumes.
Guests were served a meal of salad, chicken with potatoes and peas and for desert there was a slice of chocolate cake.
Yummy…
Everyone had the chance to boogie down and bust a move…You can count that they all did…
As you will see in the links I added with photo’s people cam dressed up in wonderful costumes. the links can be found on the Events page.
As the Mr. romance competition comes closer I have been keeping busy. For the past few days I have been hanging out and doing a behind the scenes shoot of one of the contestants, my friend Chris Winters. This is an inside look at Chris and as he gets ready for the competition.
In case you are wondering, yes that is Chris in a photo that was taken by A & R Photography. I have been asked by many about this photo.

I have provided a link to the photographers web site. All you have to do is click the name and it will take you there.
I have been lucky enough to receive the above photo. I will also be bringing one back with me signed by Chris himself to give away in a contest.
Just make sure to keep checking out the yahoo loop and the official site for more info on when the contest will occur.
After the Fairy Ball there was another event in the form of a Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament that was hosted by Christine Feehan. Attendees were able to meet up and have fun with other attendees and also play in the tournament. I did not participate in the tournament since I have no idea how to play.
At the end of the night I was lucky to hear Mr. Romance 1996 Mark Johnson play some of his amazing music on the piano for me.
It is now almost 5am in the morning and I must get some rest…I have to be up at 7am for a Stud Muffin Mixer with the Jacquelyn Frank…
My adventure shall continue tomorrow with more pictures and more stories to tell
Goodnight
