So here I am back again with another update and some more pics…I have been on the hunt for these little gnomes around the city…I found this little guy (his name is Sleepy) sleeping in front of a hotel…LOL…In case you are lost with why I am looking for them the reason is when you are in the city it is a tradition. Years ago an artist was hired to create them to make the city a little more interesting..The people loved them so much that some would try to steal them. They would litteraly cut them at the ankles and take them. So the city asked the artist to create more and they were placed all over the city. Now you can get a map and hunt for them all.

In case you are wondering why there is a photo of a bridge the reason is that this is no regular bridge. I don’t know if you can tell but there is something hanging under the railing..Those are locks…Couples come to the bridge and hand a lock on here with their name and the date that they were married. There are tons and tons of these locks with names and dates on both side of the bridge.

I took a close up of just a few so you can see them up close.

In case you are wondering how I am doing……Things are great here..I will be hitting a few more coutries along the way but for now we have a few more days here..This week the city will be shutting down because of the massive amount of dignitaries, presidents and others coming into Europe for the funneral of the president that passed away..

Getting inspired by all the sites and sounds….I will be back in a few days to post more pics and updates..
