In case you think this blog is about the movie with that name it’s not. Today we were taking a stroll before it began to rain and we saw a woman on the road trying to get something off the the road. When we neared we saw something jump and run and that is when we saw her chase a baby rabbit. She ran from across the other side of a busy road trying to save him but was unable to. My dad jumped in and joined the chase. The baby was so small he couldn’t jump up the curb and would probably go back on the road and get killed by a car. After a few moments my dad was able to grab a hold of him. As you can see he is so so small and so adorable. He was a little scared at first but as my dad held on to him he calmed down.
We took him over to a field that use to be a farm and not is grass and it is away from the road and we set him free.
We have rabbits come by the house all the time and eat flowers from out flowerbed but we have never seen a baby one. I wish I could have kept him but he is a wild rabbit and that would not be right. At least he is out of harms way..

Lisa thank you…I think the lady who tried to catch him is a hero as well. You don’t see many people going the extra mile to help out a poor little animal.

Denise the funny thing is our family is always rescuing animals, if not birds, than dogs..This rabbit is a first…I hope when he grows up he finds his way to our house to much on a few flowers..LOL
Yeah, “awww” pretty much sums it up. I hope he made his way back home.

This is the first time I saw a baby rabbit up close. There are no rabbits in my country, and overseas I visited zoos and saw rabbits, but never a baby! Thanks for sharing!
