So I’ve decided as a thank you to all of you who continue to support me and my work I will run a contest each month. I will be giving away hand crafted bookmarks. Yes made by me..It takes about 4 hours of work or more to make one and I wanted to do this for you guys. The contest will be easy. All you have to do is leave a comment here on this contest post.
The contest will run from July 1 to July 31, 2011. On Aug 1, 2011 I will post the winner.
So here is this month’s giveaway.

That is very pretty Savannah. Are those bookmarks hard to make or just time consuming? I like how you did the color pattern.
Becky thank you. They take about 6 hours to make and are a bit hard if you have never made them. Also it dies hurt your finders and the thread leaves floss burns..I know it sounds so horrible but I’ve made them for over 20 years so I’ve perfected the technique…
Oh wow, that is beautiful. Yeah, I’m drooling now since all my bookmarks are little, yellow, paper bookmarks that came from a thrift book store lol.

Debra thank you so much…It is done with embroidery floss but not crochet..You have to make each spot one by one with the string…

Those are super cool. I bet I could crochet something similar – I have tiny crochet hooks and embroidery thread in just about every color that I used to make beaded bracelets with.

I love it!!! I usually end up using receipts or used envelopes for a bookmark….I could really use a real one. This is such a nice gesture for you to give one of your handmade treasures to one of us

Beautiful bookmark! I’ve made bracelets & things like this, but have never done the zig zag. I really like it. Plus it’s my favorite color…purple! LOL
