Black Friday Blog H0p

Photobucket

While the rest of the US is out handling the crowds, fighting for their holiday gifts, some of us like to stay in, shop online, or just ignore Black Friday all to together. This year, join us in our second annual Black Friday Blog Hop! It’s a ONE DAY hop where we’re giving away prizes, talking about books we love, and most likely  eating left over turkey. 🙂
The hop is November 23rd and is ONE DAY only.

And while we do that, we are EACH doing a giveaway. Yep. There will be over 200 giveaways on each blog hosted by that Author or Blogger.

But that’s not all….

We have THREE grand prizes. You as a reader can go to EACH blog and comment with your email address and be entered to win. Yep, you can enter over 200 times!

Now what are those prizes?

1st Grand Prize: A Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet

2nd Grand Prize: A $75 Amazon or B&N Gift Card

3rd Grand Prize: A Swag Pack that contains paperbacks, ebooks, 50+ bookmarks, cover flats, magnets, pens, coffee cozies, and more!

I will be giving away: 1 ebook copy, winners choice

So with the theme of this blog being about Black Friday I thought I would touch on the topic of shopping. So with Black Friday here it means many people will be going to shop till they drop. Even stores here in Canada are trying to keep consumers here by doing huge sales. They don’t want people going over the border to spend money there when they could do so here.

I have never ever gone shopping on Black Friday or even Boxing Day. It always makes me shake my head when I see on the news that people are sleeping in front of a store just so they are first to buy something..

Trust me as a girl I would love to shop till I drop, especially for shoes and clothes but it is so not worth getting caught and trampled on by people going crazy for a deal. Each year all I remember from these so called shopping holidays is how people were hurt or killed. Is getting a deal so worth getting hurt or loosing your life?
Have you ever gone shopping on Black Friday? If so was it worth the craziness? What makes people loose their mind over a sale?

At least we know with ebook books we don’t have to leave the comfort of our home to get them..With one click of the mouse you have a story to get lost in…Before I go I wanted to tell you about a yummy re-release I have coming out Dec 17 called Taste of Passion. It is twice the size of the original book. More hotness for you to indulge in..

Bakery owner Valentine Benington’s day just went from the best of her life to the worst. Toronto Tribune reviewer, David Fraser, shows up for a review just after a fire comes close to destroying her kitchen. After David’s last assignment, which ended with food poisoning, it’s not the best of starts, especially since the job is a last-minute thing. He doesn’t expect to run into a woman from his past. First looks can be deceiving. The food isn’t the only thing on the menu he’d like to taste. When these two get baking, the flames from the oven aren’t the only thing setting the kitchen on fire.

I haven’t done any Black Friday shopping yet – I only left the house this morning to take my daughter and her friends to a movie. Thanks for being in the hop!

OOPS!! I messed up my e-mail address when posting, something to do with a football flying at me, and that fighting I was mentioning. Remove that post (don’t count me twice) and use this one! missmichelle345@gmail.com

I went Black Friday shopping once, last year, and will never do so again. While it was not as crazy as the news makes it out to be (I didn’t see anyone get trampled or killed) it wasn’t enjoyable at all. The savings to me were not worth the aggravation and there isn’t enough xanax in the world for me to ever do it again.

Thanks so much for being a part of the hop and for the giveaway.

Happy Holidays,
Marlena

I love Black Friday shopping, but this year I waited until the store was almost empty and I still got all the specials on my list. I live in a small town and even though there are a couple hundred people in Wal-Mart, most are friendly and they even say excuse me when they push you to get to what they want. I would never shop in the places they show in the news, way too scary., but in my town, I try to go every year.
