Hi Savannah, thanks so much for inviting me over to play today, it’s fabulous to be here on your lovely blog.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Lily Harlem, I live in the UK and love to spend my days immersed in erotic romance. I write for Ellora’s Cave, Harper Collins, Total-E-Bound and Xcite and have contributed to many anthologies. You can find all my books on my website – http://www.lilyharlem.com/index.html – and if you want to catch up with me for a natter, I’m messing about on my blog daily – http://www.lilyharlem.blogspot.co.uk

One of my favourite things to write about is ménage a trois. My first full-length novel to be published was SHARED about a threesome living in Cardiff, Wales. I loved writing this. They dynamics of the characters both in and out of the bedroom was complex, inspiring and offered so much potential for not just naughty fun but conflict and resolution as well. In fact I enjoyed Ariane, Liam and Quinn so much, I went on to write the sequel, SHARED TOO. Phew, that got hot!

I’m a twice monthly host on the ménage blog When One Is Not Enough – http://www.menageromance.blogspot.co.uk.  If you haven’t stopped by, it’s well worth it. There are some really hot authors hanging around who can chat endlessly about the pleasure of three, four or more in a bed. If you want to find my posts click here – http://www.lilyharlem.com/when-one-is-not-enough.html

I have two ménage novels just out. One is The Glass Knot, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009OR4LDW  which is about a gay couple who introduce a woman into their relationship. Here’s the blurb

What’s a girl to do when the guy she falls for is married to another man?

This is exactly what happened to me. Seeing Josh Kendal stroll out of the Mediterranean Sea wearing tight navy swim trunks and looking like a hot new James Bond was a truly delicious moment. Catching sight of his wedding ring was like a kick in the shin and meeting his gorgeous husband, phew, that was enough to make any girl groan at the cruel joke God was playing on her.

But all was not as it seemed, and when Josh needed a woman to sort out a ‘delicate predicament’ I was the one for the job – heck, what did I have to lose? Certainly not as much as him, literally.

Trouble is, emotions always get tangled, loyalties can’t help but be divided and with a night of memories so hot they’d have the devil sweating, there was only one thing for it—it was time to get honest, fight for what I wanted despite society’s constraints and open my heart to the people it needed most.

The Glass Knot was a story I’d had rattling around in my head for some time. I enjoyed writing SHARED with the two guys just into the girl and not each other, but now I wanted to have the m/m relationship as a foundation to the story. It produced some new challenges, I couldn’t just have a woman so gorgeous she turned a gay man straight, that wouldn’t have worked or been believable, I needed to create some doubts about sexuality right from the beginning, question needs and desires. It soon flowed and actually the themes are something I very much believe in, ‘love the person not the gender’ and ‘a heart is as big as you want it to be’.

I am a mad sporting fan. I love soccer (check out SCORED http://www.amazon.com/Scored-ebook/dp/B0085MQSA6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1337925243&sr=8-3 if you fancy hanging out with a broodingly sexy captain of the England football team.) and also I adore ice hockey.

I have a series at Ellora’s Cave called HOT ICE and my fourth book is just out. It’s called TEAMWORK – http://www.jasminejade.com/p-10517-teamwork.aspx and yep, you guessed it, another ménage. I just couldn’t resist. What could be hotter than two big, bad hockey players putting all their energy into pleasing one woman? The scenes got seriously steamy and lets just say, there were a few times I was quite jealous of Fiona!

Blurb

What I know about hockey could fit on the back of a stamp. So my latest patient may be one of the NHL’s hottest defensemen, but I’m not exactly blown away by his stardom. Add in the fact that he’s a surly, growling grump, and I’m more than happy to work my magic on his battered body and then hot-foot to my date with his teammate, Todd “Pretty” Carty.

Todd is sex on a stick, a slice of man heaven and I want a bit of the action, preferably of the bedroom variety. But when Raven emerges from his bad mood and throws his energy into blowing my mind with just one kiss, I find my head spinning and my libido raging.

What I didn’t bargain on is these hard-training, hard-playing hockey players working as efficiently off the ice as on it when it comes to getting results. But who am I to complain when satisfaction is their ultimate goal?

I expect I’ll keep writing ménage a trois stories for some time. They call to me and there’s definitely a big chunk of fantasy in there. For years guys have been talking about bedding two women, but these days, women are also standing up and saying ‘hey, I quite fancy being adored and pleasured by two men’. Yes it’s played out in books (the majority of the time,) but still, the seeds for erotic day dreams are there even if they never emerge into reality.

Thanks again for hosting me today, Savannah. It’s been fun. I’ll be around if anyone has and comments or questions for me.

Lily x

Fun interview. I love romances with sports. Combined with a threesome …well, what could be better?
