To Write Again

As you know I have had to take a break from the book world this past year…Even with the break I’ve tried to stay active and write but I have found it hard…It is like the light went out and the words vanished from inside me…Why? Too much going on and distraction of life’s curve balls. I’ve made small notes here and there with ideas or parts of stories but never much more…Today I pulled up a story that recently went off the shelf and started to re write it again….When I originally wrote it or had the idea it was very different from what the end product turned out to be…Well now I’m going to do what I planned on in the early stages of the story. I’ve started to turn it into what the book wants to be. Honestly I can say it felt amazing to sit and write if even a few pages. The light had come back and the words had found their way into my mind and escaped through my fingers.

I’ve missed writing and I hope that this is the start of something amazing….

stay naughty,

I’m glad you’re writing again, Savannah. Sometimes we need to take time out.

Wow, I could have written this post. I’ve had the same experience the last year or so. With everything going on in my life the words just haven’t been there. I’m glad you’re writing again and hope we both get back in the swing of things soon!

I know exactly how you feel. This past year has been the same for me. Way too much stress and an eventful personal life. Just now feeling it… but my dang finger’s broken!
Welcome back sweetie!

I completely understand how you feel, Savannah. My own time-out lasted about 2 years!! Sometimes, you just need the mental (and emotional!) break. I’m glad to hear you’re back at it. I’ll be cheering you on!
