Serena wants a tattoo, she just does not know what she wants. Jenny drags Serena to the tattoo store and knowing what she wants leaves Serena to look through all the pictures available. Serena finds the exact picture she wants — the eyes of the man in the tattoo she has found draw her. Jack the tattoo artist refuses.

A warrior cursed to spend his life as a tattoo. He is able to visit Serena as a man at night, making love to her in a way she has never experienced before.

Serena walks her friend home, and when Jenny is safe inside, she returns to the shop. Determined to get her tattoo she begs the artist. Jack explains the man in the picture is cursed and he never wanted it to be a real tattoo. Giving in, he agrees to ink Serena’s back. She starts to become sexually aroused from the pain and the thoughts of the man in the tattoo. Serena soon starts to have visits from her cursed friend.

This is a very hot and erotic story that opened my imagination to new possibilities. I have tattoos, and I have never had a reaction like Serena’s, but I would be tempted to get more if that would happen! Serena is a bright and independent girl who knows what she wants and goes all out to get it. It is this strength of character that makes this story flow so smoothly. Ms Chase has written an imaginative sexy book that introduced me to something I thought I knew about. I am looking forward to reading more of her high quality exotic books.

What is your wildest fantasy about getting a tattoo?

A night out on the town with a friend ends up bringing Serena to a tattoo parlor. There she discovers a tattoo that takes a hold of her. Something about it calls to her. Body art can bring pleasure to its owner but this tattoo brings more pleasure then Serena ever imagined.

Will Serena’s tattoo give her more pleasure than she could imagine or will it be a fleeting moment of pleasure after the pain?

***

Ms. Chase proves herself again with a very hot, vividly detailed short story revolving around tattoos.

I was right there inside the tattoo parlor with Serena as she looked around the store and through the binder Jack had given her. I felt the cringe from Serena when Jenny moaned with the first prick of the needle. When Serena walked out after seeing the design of the stranger with the blue eyes, I could not believe it. I kept shouting in my mind for her to do it, to get the tattoo. I was so glad when Serena went back to the tattoo parlor. Even though Jack tries to warn her off of the design she picked, Serena was determined to get her tattoo.

Getting inked was made out to be an erotic event. The descriptions of what went on before, during and after were fantastic. I could totally immerse myself in this story and be Serena. And after the inking, the story really got hot.

For an erotic little pick me up, I definitely recommend Pleasure After The Pain.

Jenny was determined to get her friend, Serena inked, and to that end, they showed up at the tattoo parlor. Jenny knew what she wanted, but Serena didn’t. One could say it was fate, Serena had begged out of a trip to the male review, and Jenny was determined she was not going to wimp out again. She didn’t see anything she wanted on the walls, didn’t think there was a design there for her, even though she had wanted a tattoo for a while. Of course, that was only before, and until Serena set eyes on the picture of a gorgeous male with the sword tattooed on his back. The design slipped and fell from the design binder the tattoo artist had provided, and drew her attention and more. It almost spoke to her as it drew her deeper into wanting, and caused Serena to rush back to the parlor shortly before closing. Reluctantly, Jack gave in to what Serena wanted, and even as he tattooed the magical design into her skin, she felt something stir deep within herself. Heat rose, and every tick of the needle, every swipe of Jack’s hand stirred a hotter and more intense passion in her, which she had been totally unaware she possessed…

Freedom. Long held as a taboo, the magical tattoo had been hidden and shunned by generations of artists as a definite “do not touch” design, and it was left in sensory deprivation in the darkness. Yet when the woman came into the shop, something sparked. As if it had a life of its own, it slipped from the binder and fell. Floating to the floor, it drifted, and as it hit the floor and caught the young woman’s eye, the spell was set.

Savannah Chase is a mistress of the erotic tale, and this one is not any different. Set for eternity in a tattoo pattern, a warrior is trapped, and with this as the background, she sets her tale. Pleasure After The Pain is a reward to the reader in that it is a quick and sexy read that speeds one to the finish in record time. Serena’s story is too good, and unfortunately too short, but it is well worth the price. She gets more than she bargains for in her new tattoo, and yet she is more than pleased with the results. Even with the warnings from the tattooist, Jack, her mind is set and she is very glad, and happy with her new art, especially since she receives a whole lot of pleasure after suffering the pain of the design being inked into her skin. If you want a delightful, and quick read, then Pleasure After The Pain by Savannah Chase is a must buy, so slip on over to Red Rose Publishing and get a copy for your bookshelf.

Out on the town, Serena stops by a tattoo parlor with her friend. While waiting for her friend to get inked, Serena browses through the album for a tattoo she might be interested in getting. Nothing grabs her attention until something falls out of the book she hadn’t noticed before. So intrigued by the design, it draws her back to the parlor before the end of the night and she has it inked on her. This is when the fun and magic begins.

All I can say is, wow! What a hawt little story! Makes me want to get a tattoo; something I’ve never had any desire to do. Don’t miss this one. Savannah, how bout a sequel?

Jack was a tattoo artist. He enjoyed what he did; that is, until the day Serena walked through the door of his shop.

Serena knew she was crazy to let her friend talk her into this. Now that they were here, there was no turning back.

Serena found the tattoo she wanted, and now all she had to do is convince Jack to do it. Jack tried to warn her but Serena would not listen. Having no choice, Jack gave her what she wanted; now all he could do was wish her luck.

Pleasure After The Pain was a short story. It packed a sensual punch that will have you wanting more. It had me wanting to know the whole story behind the amazing tattoo. Savannah Chase is one hot firecracker! She is new to the author world, she is one to watch.

Jenny has wanted to take her introverted friend, Serena, out to just have some fun for a while. When Jenny insists they end up in a tattoo parlor. Jack, the tattoo artist, brings a book from the back packed with all kinds of designs when Serena can’t find a picture she wants. But a piece of paper drops out of the book as she’s flipping through it. Something in the picture on the fallen paper calls to her as if the man in the picture can will her to have that tattoo on her body. Serena hopes to discover the mystery behind the tattoo and how much of a difference it will make in her life.

I loved the overall story and characters in Savannah Chase’s Pleasure after the Pain. Serena knew what she wanted and wouldn’t have left the tattoo parlor until she found the exact tattoo she desired. I think other readers will enjoy discovering the mystery and what comes of it as much as I did. Chase has done it again: Creating a well-written and page-turning read I would definitely recommend to those who love erotic romance.
