So I got tagged int the new game The Next Big Thing…A few people have tagged me into it but I’ve been so busy I forgot to do it..This time around author Celia Breslin tagged me in so I guess it is time to post my questions..
1. What is your working title of your book?
Fighting Desire..it use to be called the fighting book..

Purchased from/Copyright (c) 123RF Stock Photos
2. Where did the idea come from for the book?!
I got inspired from watching mixed martial arts events and fights…I knew I had to write something and was inspired quickly. After meeting a real life fighter by the name of Alex Ricci he ended up inspiring me to create a whole series focusing on this intense sport.
3. What genre does your book fall under?
Contemporary erotic romance
4. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
That is too hard to pick…Hmm I think I would love to see the real fighter who inspired the series to play himself..As for the heroine I’m having a hard time thinking of an actress who could bring her to life.
5. What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
The hardest battle of his life won’t be fought in the octagon.
6. Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
I plan on self publishing this series.
7. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
I’m still working on the first book but I had the first three chapters done in about two weeks…
8. What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
That is a hard one. I’ve never seen stories like this one. so I can’t really answer this question.
9. Who or what inspired you to write this book?
I had an idea to write a story set in the mixed martial arts world but it truly didn’t come to life until I had the pleasure of meeting real life pro fighter Alex Ricci.
10. What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
Readers will get a whole different look of the world of mixed martial arts fighting.

Oh wow. Savannah. Goosebumps. I already love it. I have something similar lounging in my harddrive, but soft contemp romance. Great minds think alike, and I need some tips. Will definitely email you. 😀

I don’t think I’ve seen an erotic romance involving MMA before — what a fantastic idea for a series! Looking forward to reading it.
